Congressional Leaders, Other Patriots Stand Up For Sovereignty On Constitution Day
Oppose Anti-constitutional WHO, UN Power-grabs Without Senate OK
WASHINGTON, D.C.— Prominent Members of Congress and their supporters in the Sovereignty Coalition held a press conference marking Constitution Day outside the House of Representatives yesterday. They applauded the recent bipartisan vote for H.R. 1425, “The No WHO Pandemic Preparedness Treaty Without Senate Consent” and called for redoubled resistance to the Biden-Harris administration’s anti-constitutional efforts to advance world government.
Participants supported applying that Act’s requirement that the Senate play its constitutional role with respect to both the new WHO treaty amending its International Health Regulations and one expected to be finalized shortly concerning pandemic preparedness, prevention and response.
They also called attention to the looming prospect that yet-another power-grabbing accord – dubbed the “Pact for the Future” and aimed at fundamentally transforming the UN into an instrument of world government – will be agreed, at least in principle, at the UN’s “Summit of the Future” next week.
Participating Members of Congress, led by Reps. Ralph Norman and Bob Good, were: Reps. Andy Biggs, Ronnie Jackson, Harriet Hageman and Eli Crane. Sovereignty Coalition members who also spoke were its co-founders, Frank Gaffney of the Center for Security Policy and Reggie Littlejohn of Anti-Globalist International, Tony Perkins of Family Research Council and Kris Ulman of Eagle Forum.
In addition to the press conference participants’ opposition to the surrender of U.S. sovereignty and freedoms to unaccountable, unrepresentative and Chinese Communist Party-dominated world government, it was noted that 49 Senators, 26 governors and 22 attorneys general have expressed similar concerns. In fact, a majority of the nation’s governors have declared, “We will not comply” with edicts from the World Health Organization’s Director General.
Their response should apply equally to unconstitutional dictates issued by the UN’s Secretary-General pursuant to the Pact for the Future. As should the requirement for Senate advice and consent before that treaty is allowed to bind Americans.
Additional critiques of these accords, including many brilliant ones presented by Sen. Ron Johnson, foreign lawmakers, subject matter experts and other patriots in the course of the third Sovereignty Summit, which was convened by the Sovereignty Coalition on September 16th, can be found here.
Let your elected officials know here that you are also opposed to the stealthy surrender of our Constitution, sovereignty and freedoms.
